Looking for information about Aquarius: love and relationships? Look no further, it’s all here, week-by-birth-week.
Aquarius is the most enigmatic zodiac sign. Individuals born under Aquarius are quirky and all very different, so it’s difficult to categorize them neatly. Yet there are some general characteristics which are common to many, so let’s start with the love and relationships of the Capricorn-Aquarius cuspers.
Capricorn—Aquarius Cusp January 17—22
There is a certain synergy of traits in this group of people. One notable characteristic is their love of fantasy, which they demonstrate both in their daily life and in their personal relationships. Some maintain an outward facade of Capricorn decorum, while secretly indulging in the most outrageous inner fantasies.
They are often torn when choosing a mate. Their practical Cappie side encourages them to choose someone responsible and dependable, but their light-hearted nature means they are attracted to exciting, mysterious, passionate, creative individuals. And irresistibly drawn to those who will play along in their favorite fantasy love-games. Thus, the situation arises where they marry a reliable person, but later are prone to indiscretions with someone who can fulfill their hidden desires.
Partners who are willing to overlook the odd fling are few and far between. Nevertheless, they can do their best to adapt and adopt and express their own fantasies— the Aquarius-Capricorn cusper will thrill to this turn of events.
Aquarius 1 January 23—30
Think of a highly-bred Thoroughbred horse as it is readied for a race; hot-blooded, nerves strung to the limit, eyes wide, body like a coiled spring, eager to leap into action. That’s a description of Aquarius 1. Well, sort of . They have minds like quicksilver and a temperament to match.
Potential partners must be aware that this intelligent, fast thinker is prone to instability. They are impulsive and rebellious, so need someone to anchor them, yet at the same time, their partner has to allow them all the freedom they require. This is a lot to ask of anyone. Aquarius 1 has mercurial moods which mean they are the life and soul one minute, and completely withdrawn the next. They can help themselves by choosing creative and expressive activities, both in leisure and work.
Routines and schedules are anathema to Aquarius 1s. They cannot bear the idea of a structured life and will never accept any kind of restriction; they must be free to choose every aspect, every action, and every desire. Partners have a very difficult time because it’s like trying to get hold of a slippery salmon. One moment they are on course; the next everything changes again. Not many are able to stay the trip. These changeable qualities will also make having any kind of a family life difficult.
Aquarius 1s rarely stick to the same partner. They crave stability yet as soon as they have it, their nature begins to push against it. They are unable to maintain a smooth-running, satisfying relationship as before long, they will be looking around for someone to fulfill their possibly unexpressed desires and sexual fantasies.
Aquarius 2 January 31—February 7
Those born in this week are very different to those born in the previous one. They may still be quite mercurial, yet are able to direct their high energy towards more positive activities. Like most Aquarians they cannot bear interference or having a routine forced upon them. However, they are able to use their creativity to express themselves in their work, often achieving a mastery that others can only aspire to. With any luck, they will also do the same in their personal relationships.
However, occasionally, they display a certain immaturity which surprises those closest to them. Usually this is due to their unacknowledged need for admiration and validation. This affects friendships and, indeed, close relationships with lovers and family. Aquarius 2s may have to face mental and emotional struggles before they reach the level of maturity required to maintain stability in their dealings with others. If they apply the same adeptness that they do to their work, they will have a great chance of success. But they must have the willingness to do so.
Aquarius 2s have the tendency to hold back in personal relationships. They prefer to keep things light and their deepest feelings unspoken. They do this in order to maintain their own sense of space and freedom to choose. Of course, this is frustrating to their mates. Another problem which may arise is that while Aquarius 2 does best with steady, pragmatic, easy-going, accepting types, they are attracted to those who are unstable, complex, and possibly troubled individuals. This means, almost certainly, that heartbreak and pain are inevitable. Aquarius 2 can avoid this by selecting a partner from the former group, rather than the latter.
Aquarius 3 February 8—15
People born in this week can go either of two ways. They can demonstrate an ability to accept others and the world in general, or they will push against it during their formative years, and come to a state of acceptance later on. Their level of acceptance and open-mindedness demonstrates the stage of maturity reached by each individual.
Aquarius 3 displays irritation with people they are close to for reasons only known to them. They fail to see, due to a lack of awareness, that it is they themselves who are often difficult, irascible and annoying. Deeply affected by what other people think and say, they will often take words and observations very personally, when no insult or put-down was intended. This makes living with them quite difficult, and potential partners must be aware of their hyper-sensitivity. Unless, of course, the Aquarius 3 in question is one of those rarer open-minded, accepting types described previously. It helps if partners remember that younger Aquarius 3s will mature into a calmer personality in due course.
On a more positive note, Aquarius 3s are funny, witty, and lively. No-one can ever become bored in their company. They are able to come to terms with a bad day, and press the reset button ready for the next. They are generally optimistic souls and this spills over into their love-life. Aquarius 3s should be aware that their search for a permanent relationship will be more successful after they reach the age of 30, than before. Up till then, Aquarius 3s should be upfront and honest about their unwillingness to commit to anything permanent. Being true to themselves and clear with their mates means that they have a much greater chance of forming a strong, unbreakable bond with their partners when they are ready.
