Joe Wilson, Republicans, Congress, Obama, Healthcare, Liars,

The Republican Party

After Joe Wilson Called Obama a liar, and now thats its proven Joe Wilson was the liar, The people of Wilson's home town are calling the resolution of disapproval a victory.

They wander about saying that as long as the Democrats talk about Joe they are not talking healthcare. They dont have the presence of mind to understand this news will be old in 3 days.

And I say this proves republicans are about the most useless group of people on this planet, Including the Taliban. And I very seldom capitalize the taliban name. To support a man who called another man a liar, while he was the one lying to start with is simply proving that the health of the nations people OR the health of its politics is never an issue with them. The politics of GWB are alive. Liars abound in the republican party plain and simple.

This is the concern of the republicans:

GOP campaign operatives in the state argue that the vote will give Wilson yet another chance to raise money and rally party activists ahead of next year's election in the conservative-leaning 2nd Congressional District, which hasn't voted for a Democrat in 46 years.
It is apparent to me that republicans are not worthy of ever holding office in this country again.

Katon Dawson, the former chairman of the South Carolina Republican party said

"I think it would be a tremendous asset to Joe Wilson's re-elect for the Congress to try to censure him or do something to him," Dawson said. "I find it hilarious that they're spending so much time on him."
he never once addressed the representatives actions or the fact that he was the one lying.

There may be some light behind the tunnel walls however.

Dick Harpootlian, the former chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party, said "the crazy folks, the right wing folks" are already in Wilson's camp, House resolution or not. He said Wilson needs to worry about independent voters instead. "It's another crazy piece of conduct from a Republican in this state," he said. "I think the independent voter out there is saying, 'What the hell? Why is this guy screaming at the President of the United States?'"
Anyone with a drop of intelligence will know where to stand on the actions of this congressman. The Independents are STILL Independents.

Republicans have become the vilest creatures on earth. No longer necessary

Joe Wilson, Republicans, Congress, Obama, Bush, Healthcare, Illegals,

Letter To My Congressmen - Joe Wilson

Sir;

I respectfully request that Rep Joe Wilson be censured by the Republican party and by the House of Representatives.

When Mr. Wilson shouted out "Liar", he knew full well he was lying. House Bill 3200 specifically says, in section 246 under the heading, quote:No federal payment for undocumented aliens." IN CAPITAL LETTERS.

I am sick and tired of 1. The republican party's actions and deceitful statements concerning the health care issue. 2, The fact that the only leadership of the republican party seems in mass confusion. and unsure if it should be on television or in congress. and 3, the fact that the republican party seems to have to pander to the corporate health care company's when it is well known there will be no competition, no lowering of costs and no dropping of pre-existing conditions. You Sir, are supporting a dead horse as far as the welfare of Americans is concerned.

In fact I am getting sick and tired of the two party system and am all for holding off elections until at least 4 partys can be presented to Americans as equals.

When Bush was in office the lies rained down so fast and hard that you had to put plastic over your head. Yet to my knowledge no Democrat shouted out to Bush that he was a liar on public TV. I beg you to stand up as a party and stop this arrogance and show America that the current party is NOT the real party of Republicans.

As a fellow citizen of the state of Tennessee, I demand public censure for Joe Wilson.

Sir. Today is 9/11. 8 Years of unnecessary war and vast spending have plagued the people of the US. We have not gotten the people responsible, In fact they are stronger now than ever. After your approvals of all the borrowing and spending by GWB, Health care for America should be a pittance. Please end the BS coming from the Republican party. And do not think that I dont feel the same towards the Democrats becuase I do.

I will recognize that there are strong, proper and pertinent statements being made by responsible Republicans. They are however, overshadowed by the right wing media loons and irresponsible people like Joe Wilson.

The Actions of the Republicans

The Actions of the Republicans over the health care situation simply proves to me that they are not qualified to run this country.

I cannot believe the lies that have fabricated concerning this contentious issue. Well I can believe them, but don't want to.

Its possible that the current proposed plan isn't the right one for the US, maybe it is. I don't know. But I know the actions coming from the Republicans are wrong.

The Party of Richard Nixon is alive and well.

Republicans, Iraq, Bush, Bin laden, Wiretapping, Iraq, Torture, Bin laden, Cheney,

Republicans Are mad?

You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.

You didn't get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.

You didn't get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.

You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.

You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.

You didn't get mad when we spent over 900 billion(and counting) on said illegal war.

You didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq.

You didn't get mad when you saw the Abu Grahib photos.

You didn't get mad when you found out we were torturing people.

You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.

You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden.

You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.

You didn't get mad when we let a major US city drown.

You didn't get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.

You finally got mad when.. when... wait for it... when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all ok with you but helping other Americans... well fuck that. That about right? You know it is.

Republicans, Obama, Healthcare, Palin, NHS, Steven Hawking,

From INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY

An editorial from the above rag seems to indicate that Steven Hawking would have no chance to live were he in Britain.

People such as scientist Stephen Hawking wouldn't have a chance in the U.K., where the National Health Service would say the life of this brilliant man, because of his physical handicaps, is essentially worthless."
INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY

The fact of the matter is, Stephen Hawking was born in Oxford. He currently teaches at the University of Cambridge. Oxford and Cambridge have something in common: They're both in England. Which makes this editorial in Investor's Business Daily unfortunate indeed.

Which leads me wonder why they never put the names of the person writing the editorial in the footnotes. this is just one more example of the lies being spread by people who oppose health care reform.

Sarah Palin was recently caught lying about healthcare saying it supports and encourages euthanasia which couldn't be further from the truth.

Steven Hawking has refuted the statements from the Investors Business Daily saying:

I wouldn't be here today if it were not for the NHS, he told the Guardian. I have received a large amount of high-quality treatment without which I would not have survived.

But what makes me the happiest? The fact that health care costs are rising so fast that soon more and more people will be losing their healthcare. And the costs will spiral even higher and the need for public health care will be even greater.

Thanks wannabe Republicans. The dems wont have to do a thing.

Activist Republicans

The republicans are once again resorting to dirty tricks>/p>

http://thinkprogress.org/2009/07/31/recess-harassment-memo/

This is a sad day For Americans.

Republican activists are now being told To do the following:

The lobbyist-run groups Americans for Prosperity and FreedomWorks, which orchestrated the anti-Obama tea parties earlier this year, are now pursuing an aggressive strategy to create an image of mass public opposition to health care and clean energy reform. A leaked memo from Bob MacGuffie, a volunteer with the FreedomWorks website Tea Party Patriots, details how members should be infiltrating town halls and harassing Democratic members of Congress:

Tea Bagger Memo

Artificially Inflate Your Numbers: Spread out in the hall and try to be in the front half. The objective is to put the Rep on the defensive with your questions and follow-up. The Rep should be made to feel that a majority, and if not, a significant portion of at least the audience, opposes the socialist agenda of Washington.

Be Disruptive Early And Often: You need to rock-the-boat early in the Rep’s presentation, Watch for an opportunity to yell out and challenge the Rep’s statements early.

Try To Rattle Him, Not Have An Intelligent Debate: The goal is to rattle him, get him off his prepared script and agenda. If he says something outrageous, stand up and shout out and sit right back down. Look for these opportunities before he even takes questions.

This is an excellent example of why republicans are not now in power, and why it should be a very long time before they are in power again.

Healthcare, Democrats, Republicans, insurance, Obama, Illegals, Drugs,

The Prospect Of Losing HealthCare

The thought of the Dems dropping the public option for health care is frightening. The entire thing would be wasted and left to the private company's who would just raise prices higher.

The fact is there is just zero competition in the health care industry. There is no reason for them to hold prices down in any way. They just pass customers back and forth between themselves.

One of the biggest costs to employers is health care. And why are the employers not wanting to lower this cost with competitive pricing coming from the health care industry?

Most Americans who are working have no stake in this except that it effects what they pay in insurance premiums at work. And since this is minimal why should they care? I will tell you why, because their taxes go up every year for the money paid to hospitals for the people who have no insurance. And their coverage at work will degrade until they are down to paying much higher premiums and getting less service. This can also lead to more competitive pricing in the drug arena.

Health reform is absolutely mandatory. The cost to America in having uninsured people is too high. Diseases such as swine flu are passed much more quickly among people who have no health care.

I do not think the Obama administration will lose anything on this. He will come out smelling like a rose and the Congress will lose favor.

He also noted in an exclusive interview with CBS News that Illegals will not be covered under the health care plan. Illegals abusing our social services must end.

In any case, its time for the US to reach up and join civilization on this one. Not having coverage for our own citizens while paying for Iraqis health care is unquestionably wrong.

Palin, Republicans, Alaska, Gingrich,

A New Al Franken Or The Real Sarah?

One has to wonder if Sarah Palin isn't trying to take over Al Franken's spot in the comedy world.

She was pretty well out of the public eye by being silent and just doing her job until she popped up and decided to quit her position as governor. At which time and part she blamed the media because it was picking on her.

I cannot and will not question her feelings towards Alaska. Nor will I question her accomplishments as governor of Alaska. And quite frankly as far as I'm concerned what her family does is absolutely no concern of mine. Sarah palin Or Al FrankenIllegitimate babies, infighting, are all family matters and none of my business.

For her the beginning started when John McCain picked her to be his running mate. Despite the fact that many Republicans groaned, he did it anyways. For him, the need to have a token woman was stronger than his desire to win the election.

Let's face it this is politics and you at least need someone who's face is recognizable to run with you. But because of the fact that Hillary Clinton ran he thought he could make political hay with choosing a woman. And as it turned out, just any woman. If that as far as I'm concerned, this showed the weakness of John McCain and his inability to make the right decisions. How could this man ever be president?

She was just about the last person anyone could ever dream of picking. While the Republican Hitler youth went insane over her being appointed second-in-command her total lack of experience and knowledge was constantly exposed. And that is where it started for the press. She was little more than a cartoon character who was an aside to John McCain's solid portfolio of political history.

Sarah Palin should have known that she was not qualified for this position. If you want to be a politician you have to know when to get past being flattered and being intelligent. It is apparent that she never got past the being flattered part and moved right into being fluttered. She assigned to her self-importance a position that was not deserved. She walked right in to a situation that set her up for where she is today.

What will Sarah Palin do now? This is the question on everyone's lips. Thousands of blogs, every single news program that you watch. I think her political career is over. If she gets into a runoff for the candidacy of President her own Republican fellow candidates, such as Newt Gingrich, would literally eat her alive. She would be left standing on the stage a melted pool of red dress. She may now run the gauntlet of talk shows and comedy routines. She will get the millions that her book will bring her in that as well will be used against her on the stage of debate.

And the little Republican Hitler youth will follow her regardless of her political abilities and lack of ability to win a November election. I say her career is cooked. She has thrown herself out of a pot of boiling oil and is now laying on the paper towel with everything dribbling out of her.

Iran, Iraq, votes, nuclear power, Ahmadinejad, Obama, Government,

Were the Iranian Elections a Comedy Act?

The recent Iranian elections remind me of the Iraqi elections when Saddam Hussein one with 99% of the votes. You just can't do any better than that.

The Iranians were really smart enough to let their winner win by 60% of the vote. Now that's cheating with a brain! There is no doubt in my mind that these elections were rigged.

But then again one might ask what difference does it make? The real leadership Nutz is the Supreme Council, a bunch of religious talking heads who are basically the man behind the curtain. The man who would be prime minister has stated he is for free speech. But what does that mean? A complete dismantling of the Iranian secret police? I don't think so. It certainly won't be long before he is no different than the current prime minister. And I say that simply because the current prime minister basically has no power and really makes no final decisions. Thing he does can be overruled or instituted once again by the supreme Council.

The candidate who has declared he is the winner says that he is also going to pursue a nuclear program but is currently in place, for peaceful energy production. Or so they say. Once again the supreme Council will decide exactly what happens with that nuclear program.

Here are just a couple of interesting facts gleaned from Jack Cafferty's webpage on CNN

According to the official results, Ahmadinejad won in all regions of the country and among all classes and ages, which is highly unlikely. For example, Ahmadinejad won in cities where he is unpopular; and the opposition leader, Mir Hossein Moussavi, lost among his own ethnic group. Also, there were 40 million votes cast and just two hours after the polls closed, Ahmadinejads victory was announced. In Iran there are no machines. All the votes have to be hand counted.

I think anyone with a brain can see that this election was little more than hogwash. And no attempt was made to hide that fact. The only thing that matters in this election is that the Supreme Council had a p.m. who played ball and gave no trouble. I wonder if we are going to attack Iran next?

Now we have to do with people's asking, what is Obama going to do about this? What should he do about it? Until he has irrefutable proof that there was cheating in this election there is absolutely nothing he can do.

it has now been decided that they are going to investigate the election. I have are from a pretty high source that absolutely nothing will be done about it even if proof is given that the elections were rigged. How could they ever admit that they were rigged? Would they ever admit it? Oh hell no.

Healthcare, Health Reform, Democrats, Obama, Republicans, unemployment, insurance ,

Health Reform

My letter to my representatives today.

I write to you today in support of national healthcare. However, if national healthcare is not possible then I would like to offer the following suggestions to you that I feel are absolutely mandatory in healthcare reform.

Pre-existing condition exclusions must be abolished by healthcare providers. Of the 45 million people who are uninsured I ask you how many of them are diabetic and as such uninsurable by the major healthcare providers. This is unimaginable in the United States. If the healthcare providers will not provide insurance for people with pre-existing conditions then the government must do so.

Health-care providers are excluding a segment of America that is in need of insurance the most. I do not feel that they are working for America.

People who are on COBRA insurance are the people who do not have jobs or incomes and yet have to pay the most for their insurance. This is also unimaginable in these times. Why are those who are unemployed punished in this manner?

I do not feel there is any competition in the major healthcare providers sector. The cost of health care in the United States is rising four times faster than the cost of living. In these times so many people have become unemployed and uninsurable and people will soon begin to be dropping off the roles of insurance. I ask you what will the result of that be to the healthcare providers? They will have to raise costs once again to provide services for less people and their groups.

There is no excuse for every American to not have healthcare insurance. Whether it be from the government or from private healthcare providers. The more people that are uninsured the less it will cost as there will be more people putting into the funds to pay for such health insurance. The current system is not working for America or Americans. I have no problem with a blend of government and private healthcare providers performing healthcare services. But it is obvious that private healthcare companies on their own will simply raise prices beyond the reach of people who are not employed are fortunate enough to be in a group.

I plead with you to put partisanship aside and come to a satisfactory compromise on this issue. I fully understand that the Democrats may not have the full answers to this problem, but I also realize that not ensuring America is not good for America.

Thank you for your time and for your service to the great state of Tennessee.
