It’s hard not to fall madly in love with a Libra. They’re artistic, romantic, and utterly charming. At their best, this appealing set of qualities is backed by a judicious and universally sensitive nature and an openness to experience rivaled only by the fire-ruled signs of the zodiac. As an air sign, however, Libras are disinclined to take a hard line stance on most matters, which causes trouble when the situation at hand is one in which loyalty, honesty, and selflessness are necessary and owed. The ultimate people pleaser, a Libra is not the sign to depend on for an honest opinion.
In most circumstances, Libras are content to “just be”. This quality can lead to a life that is peaceful and satisfying, or one of constant indecision and stagnation that ultimately leaves the Libra native empty-handed. Which result he or she sees is solely dependent on the choices he or she makes, a daunting proposition for person so challenged and fearful in making any choice at all.
As the scales must fall into place on their own to find the true point of balance, the Libra is a champion of the “just let it happen” approach in all things. This can be wonderful as a reminder to not let stress and worry get the best of us, or it can be maddening as it often manifests in relationships as an unwillingness to commit. (“Why put a label on it? Let’s just see where it goes.”) For better or worse, one can always count on a Libra to find and take the path of least resistance, and while the obvious pitfalls of laziness and failure to meet agreements loom large along the way, a healthy, mature, and self-actualized Libra can make the world a breezily beautiful place for everyone around them.
