Musica
I have always been into music. As far back as I can remember, the radio was an important item in my life. It started with Buddy Holly, and went on from there. Most of the kids in the neighborhood were slightly older than me, so I got introduced to music quicker.
In any case, I started on Rock. By the time I was 15 I was playing guitar in a small, and I do mean small band. We fit in the rhythm guitarists bedroom.
While growing up, I shunned anything that wasn't rock and didn't strike me just right. But later, I learned that other music can be as good as rock. I have learned to love Electronica and Chill music. Now I only shun Country music!
But seriously, where would we be without music? Without the groove that fills us with vibrations and gives us commonality with others? Who would we be without Santana, Zappa, Babe Ruth, The Beatles, Traffic, Jefferson Airplane and Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendric, Janis Joplin, Deep Purple and the Allman Brothers? What did The Guess Who and The Temptations mean to you? All of us have era's or periods in our lives that music defined and our memories are shaped around those times. Times that were more innocent, without the pressure of today, a time when you could say you cared about everything until the world closed in and you had to make a living, so you narrowed your vision and left some things behind. The notes that were the music from your past are still spiralling down into your soul, left now to be echoes of what once was. But, those who love music, never left the echoes go. You learn to remember and be satisfied even if you cant have them back. For some, living is still about love and friendship, and still feeling the vibration that is contained in all of us. The vibration that music gives the universe.
