Dem Voter Fraud Found?

31 Jan

I was lucky enough to read a excellent post today from the Brad Blog concerning supposed voter fraud.  Here is the leading part of the post:

After all the stuff, nonsense, bullshit, lies, hoaxes, WSJ “editorials”, Fox “News” Alerts, Presidential candidate lies, phony “conspiracy” claims, and-wall-to-wall cable and radio garbage that we had to endlessly suffer through, for months on end, leading up to last year’s election, about supposed, massive “voter fraud” being committed — by Democrats, naturally — it turns out that in one of OH’s largest counties, an exhaustive investigation by a Republican Special Prosecutor, appointed by his former GOP prosecutor partner (the Hamilton County Prosecutor who was also a state co-chair for the McCain/Palin campaign), looked into hundreds of “serious” allegations of such “fraud” and found exactly one such case.

I dont think we will be hearing from the republicans on this one. Give this blog a good once over, its well done and well spoken

What Do You Do With Your Time?

31 Jan

I am unemployed.  And as such, I have a great deal of time on my hands.  What should I be doing and what am I doing with my time?

Most of my time is spent setting in front of this tubeless sidekick known as a computer with my php editor open and feveresly trying to figure out where I went wrong with the latest swizzle stick of functions and then what happened to the stuff I did yesterday.  Damm.  its hard to get ahead while looking back.

On the other hand, I should be looking for work at home programs.  So far all In have found is fraudulent garbage.  I am excellent with Office programs, can make a website if I have to and cannot type to save my life.  That should qualify me for a high paying jobs with someone.   Damm, if people can get away with putting thousands in a freezer illegally why cant I just get a decent paying job?

Our Media

29 Jan

It is with a certain amount of laughter that I view the media’s  concern with Rush Limbaugh and what he has to say.  Rush Limbaugh gets more attention than Somalia does.

I agree with Malika Saada Saar when she says that Rush Limbaugh is holding the Republican Party back from the new blood that should be taken over in creating the new Republican Party.  The conservatism that Rush Limbaugh preaches has never existed in my opinion, and Rush Limbaugh only exists to bash the other side while he makes millions doing it.  And it is time for Rush to step aside to allow younger voices to speak for this party which obviously has nothing that the American public is interested in after President Bush.

The media this country starting with this cycles presidential candidates run for the presidency has stopped reporting news and is now reporting nothing but flash.  If that were not for websites such as the Huffington Post, the Politico, Talking Points Memo as well as the Raw Story we would never know anything about what is going on. I think we need to face the fact that the bloggers are the news carriers of the future and the present-day news as we know it will have to conform to that system.

Should Alberto Gonzalez Worry?

26 Jan

Alberto Gonzales has stated that he is not worried about being prosecuted for the torture that took place under his tenure as Attorney General of the United States.

This is a man who bastardized the office of Attorney General and turned it to the political wing of the Bush administration.  It is his opinion that the torturing was done legally because of the legal opinions from the Department of Justice.  I’m just not sure how an opinion make something legal.  I guess if enough people tell the president that it’s legal, and it’s legal.

That almost sounds like Richard Nixon saying if the president does it, then it’s legal.  I have also read today that Donald Rumsfeld will be involved in an investigation of the legality of the torturing as much for was done under his jurisdiction as well.  It is my opinion they are going to have a hard time explaining what valid results come out of torturing without using the guise of national security.  The people surrounding the Iraq war should all be in prison as far as I’m concerned.  Paul Wolfowitz, Perle and the rest of the should be rounded up and sat down in prison to reflect on the number of people they have killed. Japan In Space

25 Jan

Japan is in space in a big way now with the “Greenhouse Gases Observing Satellite “IBUKI” (GOSAT) ” satellite. This satellite was launched by Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).  They have also set up a new website at IBUKI.  This satellite is designed to sniff out the density of greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide) any where on earth.

Greenhouse Gases Observing Satellite

I think this will be a great advance in understanding exactly what is occuring on this planet and in “inner” space.  Possibly it will be able to answer the broiling questions between various factions as to whether global warming actually exists.

The whole thing is out of hand as many countries say that it does exist and a few dont.  Our late great president Bushel T. Basket’s administration went as far as to force scientists to change reports to meet his wishful thinking view of the planet.  This is the same guy who has no problem throwing a few spent uranium tank shells around.

I have the disticnt feeling we will wait till water is seeping up around the white house lawn before be do much of anything serious here in the state.  I have high hopes for Obama and the efforts he will set forth to help set this planet right.

The New President

22 Jan

Did not post anything yesterday because I do not want to discuss the hype of the inauguration and all that does is goes with it.

I am very happy that Obama is now the president.  I think the great things will happen in this country now that he has a firm grasp on the reins of this government.  With that said, I do not think that any turn around by any person will immediately occur due to the economic situation in this country.

Yesterday the president signed executive orders to reverse the foreign policy of President Bush.  From Huffington Post:

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama put his stamp on U.S. national security and foreign policy on Thursday, moving quickly to repudiate programs of his predecessor. The man he tapped to oversee the intelligence community promised Congress he would not allow torture or wiretapping without a warrant.

On his second full day in office, Obama planned to sign an order shutting down the Guantanamo Bay prison camp.

Obama was also ready to trumpet Hillary Rodham Clinton’s installation as secretary of state while turning to veteran politician and dealmaker George Mitchell to guide the new administration through the Mideast thicket.
