Cheney At A Glance

12 May

I am getting a huge laugh over the Cheney backing of Rush Limpbat.

Cheney has the credibility of roadkill.  This is the man behind the presidency who is 50% of the reason that people did not vote Republican in the last election.  This is the man known as Dr. Strangelove in a wheelchair who obviously wears a glove to keep it clean when he had his hand up George Bush’s ass.

Darth Cheney is now accusing Colin Powell of not being a Republican.  The Man who would be kingWhen he was acting president he did everything he could to prove to the American public that under no circumstances will see a conservative or quite frankly a Republican.  This is what happens when a person like Colin Powell, who commands respect due to his history and his accomplishments, speaks his mind without taking the party line.

It appears if you’re in the Republican Party and you don’t take the party line that neither Mr. Cheney or Rush Limbaugh will attack you.  Neither person is a fair assessment of a Republican or a conservative.

What Could be Better For Democrats

01 Mar

Yesterday talk show host Rusher Limbat again reiterated his desire to see President Obama fail.

In a 90-minute session, Limbaugh dismissed calls for bipartisan cooperation with President Obama and congressional Democrats. Working with them is tantamount to being co-opted by liberals eager to impose big government across the land, he said.

“Where the hell do we get to compromise when we believe in our principles?” Limbaugh told the cheering crowd. “It’s a tough challenge, but it’s worth it.”

Republicans in Washington should try to obstruct Obama’s agenda at every turn, said Limbaugh, dressed in open-collar shirt and blazer, a contrast with the blue blazer and tie uniform of many attendees.

The limp Rushdick is a boon to Democrats. In my opinion if republicans are seen as opposing this actively and it does fail, how will they be perceived by the public? As roadblocks and everything that a failure is made up of. Actively standing up and stating your purpose is to make sure Obama fails is tantamont to suicide for republicans. Republicans must now understand they are a minority in this land that Bush made, and that public perception of them as losers is not on their side.

Dem Voter Fraud Found?

31 Jan

I was lucky enough to read a excellent post today from the Brad Blog concerning supposed voter fraud.  Here is the leading part of the post:

After all the stuff, nonsense, bullshit, lies, hoaxes, WSJ “editorials”, Fox “News” Alerts, Presidential candidate lies, phony “conspiracy” claims, and-wall-to-wall cable and radio garbage that we had to endlessly suffer through, for months on end, leading up to last year’s election, about supposed, massive “voter fraud” being committed — by Democrats, naturally — it turns out that in one of OH’s largest counties, an exhaustive investigation by a Republican Special Prosecutor, appointed by his former GOP prosecutor partner (the Hamilton County Prosecutor who was also a state co-chair for the McCain/Palin campaign), looked into hundreds of “serious” allegations of such “fraud” and found exactly one such case.

I dont think we will be hearing from the republicans on this one. Give this blog a good once over, its well done and well spoken

Our Media

29 Jan

It is with a certain amount of laughter that I view the media’s  concern with Rush Limbaugh and what he has to say.  Rush Limbaugh gets more attention than Somalia does.

I agree with Malika Saada Saar when she says that Rush Limbaugh is holding the Republican Party back from the new blood that should be taken over in creating the new Republican Party.  The conservatism that Rush Limbaugh preaches has never existed in my opinion, and Rush Limbaugh only exists to bash the other side while he makes millions doing it.  And it is time for Rush to step aside to allow younger voices to speak for this party which obviously has nothing that the American public is interested in after President Bush.

The media this country starting with this cycles presidential candidates run for the presidency has stopped reporting news and is now reporting nothing but flash.  If that were not for websites such as the Huffington Post, the Politico, Talking Points Memo as well as the Raw Story we would never know anything about what is going on. I think we need to face the fact that the bloggers are the news carriers of the future and the present-day news as we know it will have to conform to that system.
