I see that Yahoo messenger has finally went the way of greed.
This morning I opened my messenger to talk to someone and what did I see? A great big fat Pillbury commercial taking up most of the space in the messenger box.
I remember all the comments when ICQ went to using commercials. Something that had been free so long had went the way of commercialism. But as time went on it was no longer even noticed.
But the way Yahoo is using this commercial is very blatant and in the way. With large links to the Pillsbury website $1 off coupons, pictures of some of their prepared foods which probably are not any good for you cover the messenger box. Read the rest of this entry »
